Marjorie Ann Wheeler, 77, of Red Hook, NY, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Thompson House in Rhinebeck where she had been a resident for 7 years.
Born December 15, 1931 in Rhinebeck, she was the daughter of the late C. Stanley Euler and Ethel (Larson) Euler. She married Howard L. Wheeler on Jan 12, 1951 in Rhinecliff. He died on Mar 14, 2007.
Marjorie worked at Schatz Federal Bearing in Poughkeepsie, and then as a housekeeper at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, and, for many years, she worked at Wonderland Florist in Rhinebeck.
She is survived by her three children: David B. Wheeler & his wife Sandra of Red Hook, Kathy L. Coomes of Poughkeepsie, and Laurie A. Wyant of Elizaville, a sister & brother-in-law: Joan & John Lobotsky of Rhinebeck, 6 grandchildren: Carol, Michelle, and Matthew Wheeler, Zachary Coomes, and Jessica and Danielle Wyant, 3 great grandchildren: Aiden Godfrey, and Brooke and Peyton Simmons. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.
A grandson, David Wyant, Jr., predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday at Burnett & White Funeral Home, 91 E. Market St, Rhinebeck. The Rev. John S. Williams will officiate. Burial will be at Rhinebeck Cemetery, Rhinebeck.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-5pm.
