Gertrude M. Godesky, 86, a longtime resident of East Williston, NY, died Tuesday at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, NY.
She was an administrative assistant with the Bank of NY in Garden City, NY.
Gertrude was a daily communicant of St. Aidan's Church.
Born on June 11, 1923, in Mineola, she was the daughter of Francis P. and Kathryn (Wrinn) Godesky.
Survived by three nieces; Kathleen Glenister of Cary, NC, Mary Godesky, MD of Red Hook, NY, and Ann Godesky of Pawling, NY, and a nephew Robert Godesky of Annapolis, MD.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Friday at Chapel at Ferncliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck, NY. Burial will be at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
